Coach Sam Kiningham comes to Kirkland Academy after his most recent position at Keansburg High School, where he was an assistant football coach. Sam is originally from Little Silver, NJ where he attended Red Bank Regional High School and played offensive line for the Bucs. Before entering college, Sam spent a year at a post grad school called Bridgton Academy. After Bridgton Academy, he went off to Sacred Heart University and finished his collegiate career as an offensive lineman at Fairleigh Dickinson University, while also studying Business Management. From there, Sam went on to get his masters in Sports Leadership at Concordia University of Chicago. Sam has been coaching football for 10+ years. He started his coaching career at Fairleigh Dickinson University as an Assistant Offensive Line Coach. He also spent time at The College of New Jersey and multiple high schools in the shore conference. Sam resides locally with his wife Lindsey and his 3 children: Joyce 8, Joseph 6 and Kaylin 2. Kirkland Academy is very excited to have Sam as a part of our coaching staff.
Lou Sgrizzi comes to Kirkland Academy as a Volunteer Coach. Lou is from Red Bank, New Jersey and attended the C.W. Post College of Long Island University where he received a degree in Psychology. Before he joined our staff, Lou spent his last 16 years at Sodexo Healthcare Services as the Regional Vice President.
In June 2017, Lou joined our staff as a volunteer and we are excited to have him.
Joyce has over 30 years experiences in the education field. She has worked with children ages 8-18. She is a certified special education teacher in the state of New Jersey. Joyce specializes in writing and note taking skills as well as SAT Test preparation. A native of Morristown, NJ, She is in charge of all the academic oversight for Kirkland Academy.

Juwan Jackson is originally from Madison, NJ where he attended Madison High School. His senior year, Madison High School won the Group 1 North II State Championship. After graduating, he chose to attend Marist College, where he played for Jim Parady. Juwan was an All-American offensive lineman, graduating in 2003 with a degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Radio/TV/Film Media. He participated in rookie training camp with the New York Jets in 2003, and played Arena League Football for the Laredo Law in Laredo, TX in 2004, and for the Manchester Wolves in in Manchester, NH during the 2005 season.
Juwan began his coaching career at Marist College in 2003. His first season, he was the Tackles/TE Coach. In 2004 and 2005, He went on to be just the TE coach. After three seasons of coaching and playing arena football, Coach Jackson was hired at Wagner College in 2006 for head coach Walt Hameline. At Wagner, Juwan earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration while working as the assistant defensive line coach. He then left to be player development for Rutgers football in the fall of 2007 for Greg Schiano and Kyle Flood. In 2008, Juwan went to the University of Oregon and became a strength and conditioning and defensive intern under Mike Belotti, and then Chip Kelly in 2009. In 2010, left Oregon to be the defensive line coach at Monmouth University in NJ under Kevin Callahan. In 2015, Juwan was hired to be the head coach and offensive coordinator at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, ME.
In March 2017, Juwan was named Athletic Director and Head Football Coach of Kirkland Academy.

Jamie was hired by Kirkland Academy to oversee all day to day operations. She focuses on strategic planning and goal-setting, and directs the operations of the company in support of its goals. Jamie also handles all Human Resources responsibilities.
